Homemade pork sausage patties
Ingredients
  • 2 pounds of ground, pasture raised pork
  • ½ teaspoon organic garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon organic sage
  • 1 and ½ (1.5) Tablespoons of organic fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt
Instructions
  1. Combine spices all in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Combine pork and spices in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Make approximately 18 patties with sausage (about the size of sliders).
  4. Preheat oven broiler to hi temperature
  5. Place patties in single layer pf broiler pan spread slightly apart so they aren't touching.
  6. Place broiler pan on bottom or lower oven rack (not top).
  7. The broiler pan will strain the grease while it is cooking.
  8. Cook for approximately 13 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and turn over.
  10. Cook for approximately 5 minutes or until done (no pink in center). Keep a close eye on them. They can burn or get overcooked easily.
  11. Remove and enjoy. Freeze extras in glass tupperware.
